Adell Haughey directed the Columbia Union College Concert Band in Takoma Park, Maryland where she was Assistant Professor of Secondary Music Education, taught the music education classes in wind and percussion instruments, Secondary Music Education, and conducting. Adell has guest conducted the US Navy Band in Washington, D.C., and has shared adjudication responsibilities with the band directors of Maryland and Catholic Universities and the US Army Field Band at Ft. Meade, Maryland.  Adell has played trombone with the Arlington, Virginia Symphony Orchestra, Prince George’s County Symphony (Maryland), Battle Creek Symphony (Michigan), and Iowa State University Orchestra.
