Al G. Wright Award
The purpose of this award is to honor an outstanding man who continually supports women band directors over a long period of time as a promoter, teacher, or role model.
Criteria for Selection:

Demonstrates exceptional support toward women band directors and Women Band Directors International.

Motivates and empowers students and colleagues in the band world.

Demonstrate consistent promotion of the success of women band directors.
The award consists of a special plaque and Honorary Membership in WBDI. The award shall be presented at The Midwest Clinic.
