All student awards should be presented at a public concert or event by a bonafide

WOMEN BAND DIRECTORS INTERNATIONAL, INC. member whenever possible.

Certificate of Achievement

Given by director to student in recognition of outstanding  elementary, junior high, middle school, high school, and college student musicians.

Given by WBDI member recognition of outstanding performance as an elementary, junior high, middle school, high school, and college instrumental soloist.

All-Star Honor Roll Award

Given to students by their director in recognition of outstanding students at the elementary, middle school/junior high, high school and college level. Directors nominate students to be recognized as WBDI All-Star Honor Roll Students. The students receive a certificate.

Directors may nominate

up to 10 players,

no more than 1 player per section.
